Utilize your data analytics background by finding an industry that values that skill set, such as data analytics products. To gain functional experience, consider attending a product management bootcamp or participating in free startup weekends, bootcamps, or volunteer projects. While it may be tempting to aim for a big tech company right away (which is not impossible but improbably if you are not graduating from undergrad or grad), it's also worth considering mid-sized companies for product operations or larger companies for internal product management roles. Network with and learn from experienced product managers at those companies and use that experience as a stepping stone to product management roles in your next role.
