I'm a Senior Data Scientist in the financial services/insurance industry and I love a lot of the skills that I use on a daily basis. I focus mostly on building predictive models that are imbedded into business processes to improve decision making of internal stakeholders.
At my heart, though, I'm interested in people and behavior and I'm actively exploring transitioning to the People Analytics field. I'm starting with an online class through Coursera to understand the field a bit better, but I'd love advice along this process of what hiring managers really value and thoughts on how to really make an impact in this field.
I'd love to chat with anyone who may have experience in this field, or have made a similar transition before, or have resources that they'd recommend.
Thank you!
