Hereβs what Merit users have said about Olivier
Olivier is amazing at listening connecting and at sharing his valuable experience. He gives honest and good advice that can really help young programmers excel at their work. He has given me a lot of good advices on how to be a better manager and how to connect dots to get where I need to be as a manager and as a program. One thing I like most about Olivier is that he is not afraid to give you and honest advise, that you can use immediately. That can only come from someone that has huge experience and motivation to help others.
I had great time with Oliver, he was really a good listener provided pointed feedback on my resume that made sense. I got understand the interviewers perspective when we did the mock interview, again he had great suggestions. Oliver also answered all my questions patiently, it was a time well spent and will definitely help my job search.
Olivier was really gracious in helping me analyze and re-frame my prior experience, using his own career story as a comparison, as well as giving me a deep dive into the Times' engineering organization's team structures and overall business motivators. We also worked in some discussion of Go lang and how he approaches keeping up to date with new technologies/frameworks.
