I didn't start programming until I got to college, I went to school to study music in Nashville TN. It was there that I took a Computer Science class to fulfill a math credit. From there, I started to get more interested in programming and finally landed an internship with a local tech startup in 2011. I've worked as an Android Developer, Backend Engineer, Database Engineer, and now I work as a Test Platform Engineer. I've worked in small and large teams, I've lead hiring and training programs, and even managed a team of six engineers for period of time. Now I work at Peloton, and I'm looking to ways to help others get the help they need to develop their careers. I've been mentoring people internally at Peloton, but would also love to get experience mentoring those outside of the company as well. I think that the tech industry has a lot to improve on in terms of educating and training people and I'd like to help be a part of that movement.
