I feel strongly about the topic of mental health—it’s something we don’t talk about enough in tech. I mentor because I’ve been on the other side. Early in my career, I often felt alone because I didn’t quite fit in. But during that time, my mentors made a world of difference—they didn’t just guide me in my work, they stood up for me and encouraged me to aim higher than I ever thought possible. Their belief in me pushed me to grow and showed me just how powerful mentorship can be. Now, I want to pay that forward and be that same source of support and encouragement for others.

Benevity is a financial engine that powers donations and enables people to volunteer across the globe. I've had the privilege of working in the nonprofit, content creation and volunteering product portfolios. Over the last year I've had the pleasure of mentoring recent design graduates of my university's Information Design program and as well as a handful of women working to break in to the tech space. I love mentorship and coaching conversations and am hoping to grow that practice through Merit!
