As I have grown into a more senior role and led different projects over the past couple of years, I feel that the one thing I am missing out on is the opportunity to give back to the community what I have learned over the years. I want to listen to different perspectives, understand what challenges people face, and help them take on these challenges by offering guidance. I would also like to find a mentor who could help me understand how I can grow as a professional.

I have had great mentors throughout my career and give back as I can informally. Would love to give back in a more formal way too.

I wish I had more structure and guidance early in my career. It was not often provided nor did I really know how to seek it out. I want to support you as you realize your interests and translate your potential into actual confidence in your abilities.

He’s worked with entrepreneurs from Y Combinator, 500 Startups, and Startup Leadership to provide product design and development services for founders to move faster with their product idea and build a viable business in the most efficient way. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY where he serves as Head of Product at Handspring Health.

Coming out of school I started a company that ultimately didn't work out. Took a winding path through software development, product management, and ultimately Solutions Engineering. Found myself managing a team at a small startup that was required by Zoom before starting a company with former colleagues.

The Merit community helped me succeed in multiple career transitions and mentoring has been my way of not only giving back, but continuing to grow. I have a passion for learning and growing personally and professionally. Seeing others succeed has become extremely rewarding too. I've enjoyed seeing the journey of self taught engineers growing their salary over 50% and bootcamp engineers land their first role in weeks instead of months because of mentorship.
